The ship’s centerpiece is its dazzling LED Dome, where jaw-dropping light shows transport you to far-off places. One night it’s a tribute to the Four Seasons; the next, you’re walking with dinosaurs. These dome shows aren’t just a visual delight—they’re an immersive experience you can’t find anywhere else.

Staying Connected
Tech-savvy travelers will appreciate MSC’s app, which works seamlessly with the ship’s hotspot—no internet package needed! It’s a breeze to check daily schedules, make reservations, and keep track of onboard activities.
Food: More Than Just Pasta and Pizza
Let’s talk food, because if you’ve done your research, you might have heard mixed reviews about MSC’s dining. I’m here to set the record straight: we were pleasantly surprised!
Marketplace Buffet: Forget everything you think you know about buffet food. The pizza here is legendary (seriously, I may have gone back for seconds… or thirds). The soups were standout winners too, and there’s an impressive variety to cater to every palate, whether you’re craving classic Italian or international flavors.
Main Dining Room (MDR): Late dining was our pick, and the service made every meal feel like a special occasion. A big shoutout to Tino and Patrick our server, who greeted us with a smile, ensured our favorite wine was ready on arrival, and even gave us sneak peeks of the next day’s menu. The Dining Supervisor, Sunny, was equally attentive, checking in to ensure everything was perfect.
Ocean Cay: A Private Island Paradise
One of the biggest highlights of this cruise was our day at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s private island in the Bahamas. This stop is nothing short of paradise.
Crystal-Clear Waters: Whether you’re lounging on the white sandy beaches or snorkeling in the turquoise ocean, the island offers breathtaking views and a chance to unwind.
Activities Galore: From paddleboarding and kayaking to exploring the marine reserve, there’s something for everyone. I spent my time soaking up the sun and enjoying the laid-back vibes.
Evening Magic: If your itinerary includes an overnight stay, don’t miss the lighthouse light show and the opportunity to relax under the stars. Ocean Cay truly shines after dark, offering a peaceful and serene escape. Unfortunately for my sailing, the lightshow was cancelled due to weather, but the time I did spend in the island was very relaxing.
Ocean Cay felt like the perfect way to break up our days at sea, combining natural beauty with a touch of MSC’s signature style.

Entertainment: Something for Everyone
The entertainment onboard the MSC Meraviglia deserves a standing ovation.
Matias, the Entertainment Director, and his team are the heart and soul of the ship. From hosting high-energy trivia games and dance classes to leading themed parties, they made sure every guest was having fun.
I even joined a basic French class, where I learned to say “Bonjour!” and a few other phrases. Who knew a cruise could also double as language school?
The Shows: Of the four included shows, Encore stole the spotlight with its breathtaking performances and stunning vocals. The final show prepared by the entertainment staff was equally engaging—a fun, interactive performance that had the audience laughing, clapping, and fully entertained.
A Personal Touch
What makes the MSC Meraviglia truly shine is its staff and service. From the dining room team to the entertainment crew, every person we encountered worked tirelessly to make our cruise memorable. Their warmth and enthusiasm created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming.
